A WORD FROM OUR HALIFAX COMMUNITY LIAISON.
To the AHFE Team,
It is hard to believe that another family is closing on their condo today! The AHFE Board members (Chris and Jenn) were a dream team of efficiency. We worked very closely with your advisor, and I have to say she was incredible. Never did she mention that she was donating her commission until it was necessary to do the right math. She negotiated a price with the seller that was below what other condos went for in the building that was not as well positioned or as nice. She was fun and funny and serious and smart depending on what the occasion called for. She showed a great deal of respect and caring for the family, treating them with the utmost respect and dignity. It made an already incredible experience for them even better. I can't thank you enough.
I have been singing your praises everywhere I go. This thing you are doing is incredible. It is a very beautiful event to get to watch someone for whom something was completely out of reach, a desire so unreachable that someone has had to stifle it altogether suddenly becomes a reality. I hope you get to feel some of the joy of what you are contributing to. Throughout my career, I have had a front-row seat to lots of efforts to change the trajectory of people's lives. Some of these efforts result in small changes for large numbers of people...I have always been drawn to the other end of the spectrum...the one where you make a significant change in a smaller number of people's lives. The work you are doing is an excellent example of that and I feel lucky to be a part of it.
